What Materials Do I Need?
Before your students do the Virtual Marble Roll, you need to install the Avatar plug-in to run the virtual tutor on ALL of the computers students will be using. To install the Avatar, use the CD-ROM Installation Disk sent to you via Fedex and follow the instructions provided.
- If you had difficulty with the installation, send email to Wes_Fleming@terc.edu and describe the problem you are having.
- Before your students use the simulation, you need to complete a few forms and have your students do a pre-challenge questionnaire. You should have received email from Tara Robillard with information about the forms and the questionnaire . If you did not receive these forms, send email to Tara_Robillard@terc.edu.
- All of the computers require Windows and a Signing AvatarŪ Installation Disk.You will also need Internet Explorer 5.0 ( or higher) installed on at least one computer to Enroll (Step 2), Enter and Send Data (Step 6), and Analyze Data (Step 7).
